Ellis & Webster voted 'MOST VALUABLE PERFORMERS'The FFFF (Fechter's Finger Flicking Frolic) convention is the "Original Close-Up Magic Convention" and the most prestigious gathering of close-up magicians in the world. Since 1971 the By-Invitation-Only event continues to feature the best performers, creators and lecturers in the world. In 2001 Tim Ellis and Sue-Anne Webster were not only invited to attend and lecture to this elite group, but were honoured to be the only Australians ever to be voted 'Most Valuable Participants' by their peers. "Their bubbling high energy was irresistible and their magic was delightful. Each year the attendees (of FFFF) vote for the convention's MVP, the person who has contributed the most to making the event a success. Ellis & Webster nominated 'LECTURERS OF THE YEAR'The annual awards given by the Magic Castle have a high status within the magic industry. Nominees for the performing awards are chosen from among that year's performers. With several different magicians performing each week, this can mean a pool of hundreds. From this pool the field in each category is cut down to five nominees. In 2006 Tim Ellis and Sue-Anne Webster were nominated 'Lecturers of The Year', making them the only Australians to ever receive such an accolade.
Ellis & Webster head the 'WORLD'S LONGEST MAGIC SHOW'The previous record for a magic show, performed non-stop, was set in India at 24 hours. Together with a talented team of Melbourne magicians, Tim and Sue-Anne performed a non-stop magic show at Melbourne's Luna Park and smashed the record performing 1,117 tricks for an astonishing 75 hours.
